Decorating with Marble

Marble is a timeless material that's been around for centuries. It's been around in home-decor since time immemorial. Used in flooring, walls, table tops or even accessories, this stone has always given the interiors an uber chic appeal.

A marble counter-top in a kitchen immediately increases the sophistication of a simple kitchen place. If you like a relaxed and sophisticated environment, using marble matte tiles would make you feel at home. A marble-topped coffee table makes a simple yet elegant statement in any household.Using this stone in tiles over your head-board could make for a gorgeous showstopper in your bedroom. If you're feeling a little adventurous, you could also use it on your walls. Marble in bathrooms make them the perfect relaxation venues.

Add in some wooden furniture to strike a balance between sophisticated and earthy interiors. Leather works well with marble if you're looking for something modern and sleek.

For a budget option, consider adding small quantities of marble in your decor- how about a cutting board for the kitchen? Or soap dispensers in the bathroom? Or how about a marble tray? Keep them in places easily visible and accessible for better effect.

Marble is known for lending its beautiful sparkle to whatever object it’s incorporated into. This festive season give your homes a makeover with this elegant stone.
