a trip down memory lane

In April 2004, when we started developing this 1-acre property to create Sanskriti Lifestyle, we took steps that would ensure a delightful shopping experience for our customers. Avid gardeners for life, we invested heavily in the landscaping of these gardens. We planted close to 200 trees, including Frangipanis, Laburnums, Kaanchan, Gulmohar and Coconuts. We scoured nurseries in and around Pune for unusual varieties of these trees. For example, we have 10 varieties of Frangipani alone. It was hard work in a very hot summer!
I found this old picture of one of the Laburnums we planted, and am posting it alongside a picture of the same Laburnum in full bloom this May (look closely for the green plant stands still very much in place). Few things in life are as rewarding as gardening! Our customers have repeatedly told us how much they love visiting us.
